When did Ringwood die?

2015 (Railway cat gravestone)
Ringwood the cat "adopted" the railway and spent much time around the engine shed. Although not "owned" by the railway, Ringwood enjoyed many meals courtesy of the cleaners, firemen and drivers and there was always a packet of cat biscuits ready in the enginemens' "bothy". Ringwood must often have returned home with oily, sooty paws and coat and seemed purrfectly at home surrounded by hot, dirty, smelly and noisy volunteers locomotives. It was therefore a genuine loss to all the volunteers and staff of the railway when Ringwood was found dead early one morning. It was only natural that some sort of memorial would be erected in Ringwood's memory, and placing it in the engine shed viewing area provided a way for staff and visitors alike to remember this lovely, friendly cat.
